Dr Marta Kołacz obtained her Doctor of Law degree with the thesis about multiparty contracts in logistics at the Erasmus University Rotterdam, the Netherlands and University of Antwerp, Belgium (double degree). She works currently on legal solutions for sustainable last-mile deliveries. Her main areas of interest are the regulation of new technologies, regulation of sustainable logistics, and transport law.

Marta conducted her research projects at several European Universities thanks to the obtained research grants. At the University of Brno, Czech Republic she worked on the project: “Blockchain for More Sustainable Carriage of Goods – Legal aspects of involving blockchain for environmentally-friendly transport” (thanks to the Visegrad grant). At the University of Rouen Normandie, France she worked on the project: “Carbon Free Last Mile Delivery – legal and technological perspectives” (thanks to Marie Skłodowska-Curie grant). She was also a visiting scholar at the University of Leeds where she worked on the competition law aspects of co-operation contracts in logistics (thanks to Erasmus + grant).
